TOKYO IDOL PROJECT kickoff event

TIP started in March 2015 as a new project to introduce the “idol” culture of Japan to the world, using various forms of media such as TV, video streaming, events, radio, magazines, newspapers and various websites.
Japanese idols and their performances are now a phenomenon representing Japanese culture throughout the world.
The TOKYO IDOL PROJECT aims to provide many opportunities to welcome people from abroad to experience “idol culture”. It also aims to make Tokyo and Japan a more exciting place with the 2020 Olympics in mind.
The TOKYO IDOL PROJECT will continue to evolve with idols and support from fans. Look forward to further excitement to come.
TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL is one of the worldʼ’s largest idol festivals.
